Also do not casually put on the machine tool, avoid the vibration of the machine tool and make the measuring tool fall down damage. In particular, calipers should be placed in a special box to avoid deformation of the ruler body.


4, measuring tools are measuring tools, absolutely can not be used as a substitute for other tools. For example, using a caliper to line, using a steel ruler as a screwdriver screw, and using a steel ruler to clean chips are all wrong. The measuring tool as a toy, such as the caliper in the hand arbitrary waving or shaking is also wrong, it is easy to lose precision measuring tools.


5, the temperature has a great impact on the measurement results, the precision measurement of parts must make the parts and measuring tools are measured at 20℃. Generally, it can be measured at room temperature, but the temperature of the workpiece and the measuring tool must be consistent, otherwise, due to the thermal expansion and cold contraction of metal materials, the measurement results are not accurate. The temperature also has a great influence on the accuracy of the measuring tool. The measuring tool should not be placed in the sun or on the bedside box, because the correct size will not be measured when the temperature of the measuring tool increases. Do not put the precision measuring tool in the heat source (such as electric furnace, heat exchanger, etc.) near, so as not to make the measuring tool heat deformation and loss of accuracy.


6. Do not put the precision measuring tool near the magnetic field, such as the magnetic workbench of the grinder, so as not to make the measuring tool feel magnetic

8, after the use of measuring tools, should be timely wipe clean, in addition to stainless steel measuring tools or protective coating, metal surface should be coated with a layer of antirust oil, placed in a special box, stored in a dry place, so as not to rust.


9. Precision measuring tools should be regularly verified and maintained. Precision measuring tools used for a long time should be regularly sent to the measuring station for maintenance and accuracy verification, so as to avoid product quality accidents caused by out-of-tolerance error of measuring tools.
